of Hopkins, died October 14, 2012 at his home. Kenneth was born July 4, 1926 in Monterey Township, the son of Danie and Halla (Berens) Brenner. Kenneth farmed the Hopkins area all of his life. He was a partner of Brenner Brothers and Sons. Surviving is his wife Alice; his two sons: Burton and Kim Brenner, Ross and Jodie Brenner; his four step children: Janet and Rick Merren, Ken Switek, Larry and Julie Switek, Marlene and Jaime Schaendorf; nine grandchildren: Brooke and Taylor and Trent and Shelby Brenner, Sandra and Orly De Lao, Lisa and Dan Cassini, Nick and Erin Schaendorf, Justin Schaendorf, Rachel Switek; ten great grandchildren: James, Carsen, Ava, Allison, Brady, Reese, Izabel, Cole, Austin, Parker; one brother-in-law Wayne and Julie Burton; three sisters: Leona Lampen, Eunice Loew, June and Lyman Moored. Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife Vivian; four brothers: Clayton, Earl, Vern, Russell; his sister Wilma Sebright; his stepson Paul; his granddaughter Stephanie. Friends may meet with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, October 16, with a scripture service at 3:30 P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1871 136th Avenue, Dorr, Michigan 49323 at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. The Rev. Fr. Harold Potter, Celebrant. Interment at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope, 530 Linn Street, Allegan 49010. Arrangements by Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
