Kelly E. Hunter, 56, of Gowen, formerly of Allegan, died early Wednesday morning at Spectrum Hospital, Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born July 31, 1953 in Allegan. Kelly is survived by his wife, Kim Hunter, whom he married on June 29, 1996 and a daughter, Vanessa Simpson both of Gowen; his parents, Milt and Maggie Hunter of Allegan; sisters Peggy Pobuda of Brighton and Bridget (Brad) Brownell of Frisco, TX; a brother, Pat (Nan) Hunter of Vicksburg; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. Kelly had worked for several years at Knoll Furniture Inc. in Muskegon. He was an avid motorcyclist, enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife, Kim. A celebration of Kelly's life will be held on Friday, July 23rd from 6-9 pm in the Silo at the Grille House Restaurant, 1071 32nd St. (M-40) in Allegan. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by the Gorden Funeral Residence, 528 Trowbridge, Allegan.
