Kelly Scott Flora, 57, of Allegan, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born July 9, 1961 in Allegan, Michigan, he was the son of JoAnn (Shoemaker) Flora and the late Lawrence Flora. After high school, Kelly trained and became a robotics welder. Music was a big influence in Kelly's life. He loved Rock-n-Roll music, playing lead guitar and singing in many bands, he ended up forming the band, Nightmare. Kelly also always enjoyed a good B horror movie. Cooking was a passion of his and those close to him labeled him as the Master Fudge Maker. Kelly is best known as a loving and devoted father who was very proud of his son. Kelly is survived by his wife, Ellen; his son Clayton (Courtney) Cook; his sister, Shelly (Scott) Knobloch and their children, Mandy and Holly; his brother, Matt (Annette) Flora and their children, Ryan, Chad, Josiah and Eli; and several great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 17, 2018 at 11am at the Corner Bible Church, 4001 124th Ave, Allegan, MI 49010.
