Obituary

Keith Arby Button passed with family by his side on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in the privacy of his home in Martin, MI. Keith was born to his late parents Arby and Beatrice (Shaw) Button on May 12, 1933, in Hopkins, MI. Keith would graduate high school and marry his high school sweetheart Jennette (Bargwell) Parkhurst. He was then drafted into the Army serving during the Korean War Conflict, attaining the rank of Corporal as a cook. After serving honorably in the Army. Keith was a well-respected mechanic and worked for Alflen Bros Inc. of Wayland, for years before retiring. In his retirement, spending time mowing his grass and making the lawn look pristine brought him peace. When he wasn't working on the yard, he spent time hunting and fishing all over Southwest Michigan, Canada, and the Upper Peninsula.

He is survived by his first wife Jennette (Bargwell) Parkhurst; children Robert Lee Button and Kathleen Myaard; sister Elaine (Timothy) McBride, and sister in-law Gloria Button; grandchildren Jason (Brandi) Myaard, Sarah Myaard, Rachel (Ryan) Gates, Kate (Jeremy) Lund, and Eric (Shelby) Myaard; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in passing by his recent wife Mary Lou (Wangler) Button; parents Arby and Beatrice (Shaw) Button; son in-law Dale Myaard and daughter Peggy Kay Moore.
