Karen Cochran, 55, of Allegan Michigan passed away Monday October 9th, 2017. Born August 17th, 1962 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Karen was the daughter of the late Robert J. Vert and Ruth A. (Host) Vert. Karen worked as a Home Health Aid for many years and loved playing Bingo, she frequented her favorite place to play at KC Bingo Hall on 54th Street often. Karen also enjoyed spending time rooting for the Michigan Wolverine Football team and the Detroit Lions. She is survived by four children Kari Cochran (Nathan Lapanne), Kristina Velez (Julio), Ricky John Cochran II, and Samantha Welch (Ron). Five grandchildren Rollan Lapanne, Nicole Cochran, Malea Velez, Adam and Allen Welch. Three great-grandchildren Brayden, Bradley, and Colton Knack. Her five sisters Wanda Stoffers (Wayne), Linda Vert (Dave Whiting), Connie Veruggnik (CJ), Sharon Sandoval, and Michelle Rendle (Duane). Karen was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Vert as well as brother-in-law Wayne Stoffers and nephew Robert Stoffers. Following Karen's wishes the family will have a private memorial at a later date.
