Hopkins, MI, died Saturday, December 18, 2004 at her home. Karen was born February 18, 1956 in Hopkins, the daughter of Adler & Margie (Mack) Taylor. She was a graduate of Hopkins High School Class of 1974, and had worked for the City of Allegan at the City Hall for 7 years as a Secretary. Surviving are her husband, Ron; 2 children, Tiffany Traxler & Brandon Lantz, and Austin Birdsall, all of Hopkins; 2 brothers and their wives, David & Cheryl Taylor of Wayland and Dennis & Jennifer Taylor of Hopkins; mother-in-law, Kathryn Traxler of Allegan; several aunts, uncles & cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Traxler, and brother, Eldon Taylor. Friends may meet with the family from 1 p.m. Wednesday until time of service at 3 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Interment Miner Cemetery, Watson Twp. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Assoc.
