of Monterey Twp., died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at her home. Kandi was born March 2, 1962, in Allegan, the daughter of Cleve and Mary (Calloway) Simmons. Kandi graduated from Allegan High School in 1980. Surviving are her mother, Mary Simmons of Allegan, 1 sister, Mickey Truax and Keith Jackson of Grand Junction, 2 brothers, Cleve Jr. and Katie Simmons of Gobles, Richard Simmons of Allegan, 6 nieces, Miranda, Rosey and Alexiss Simmons, Keidria Jackson and Shinead Rice, 6 great nieces, Amy Villwock, Kara Rial, Jayden Bowen, Arry Ann Bowen and Kaydence Rice, 1 great nephew, Doc Holiday Villwock, 2 nephews, Roger and Paula Stolte-Villwock and Kodi Alan Simmons, 2 special friends, Cassandra Fletcher and Fred Hadd. She was preceded in death by her dad, Cleve Simmons. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 11-1 p.m. at The River Church in Allegan where the memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Pastor Jon Vugteveen will officiate.
