of Allegan. Died December 23, 2011. Age 82 years. Lamar was born August 15, 1929, the son of the late Theodore and Lucille (Fosdick) King. He graduated from Cassopolis High School. He worked for Overhead Door in Kalamazoo, retiring after 20 years of service. The love of his life was Dorothy Dalm; she preceded him in death. He is survived by three children, Antoinette (Ann Gorney) Felter of Charlevoix, Stephen King of Holland and Nancy Victoria (Charles) Kelso of Tennessee; a daughter-in-law, Sari King of Petoskey; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Firmer King of South Bend, IN; one sister, Dorothy Owens of Marshall; Dorothy Dalm's children, Harry and Debra Dalm of Allegan; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lamar was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Newman. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to Ely Manor, 1200 Ely St., Allegan, MI 49010.
