of Allegan, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the Wings Home in Allegan, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Nielsen was born June 6, 1936, in Cheshire Twp., the daughter of the late: Leon and Thelma (Bussey) Kaylor. She was a graduate of the Allegan High School, Class of 1953, and had worked at many businesses in the Allegan area including: Valley Fruit Market, Friedlins, Petrolane Gas, and retiring from Allegan County Intermediate School District as a Secretary in 1999. June was a member of the United Methodist Church in Allegan for many years, and served on many Church committees and was always willing to lend a hand. Surviving are her 2 children: Donald and Kristen Nielsen, Sheryl and Robert Parrish; 3 grandchildren: Lindsey, Karlie and Nathan; her sister: Sandy and Mark Pitney; 2 brothers: Ken Kaylor, Neil and Tanya Kaylor; 3 brothers-in-law: Robert Leverich, Alden Nielsen, Don and Judy Watson; her sisters-in-law: Debra Kaylor, Carrie Nielsen; her "adopted kids" Leroy and Shelly Grauman; many special friends; and several treasured nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her husband: Martin; 2 sisters: Linda Watson and Nadine Leverich; brother: Peter Kaylor; and granddaughter: Alicia Nielsen, and her "adopted" granddaughter: Courtney Grauman. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, January 18, 2015, from 2-5 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 am at the United Methodist Church, Pastor Robert Lynch will officiate. Interment at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp.
