of Allegan, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2013, at the Bronson Methodist Hospital, surrounded by her family. Mrs Meiser was born June 15, 1926, in Allegan, the daughter of Frank and Mabel (Chapman) Brainard. June graduated from Allegan High School in 1944, and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church most of her life. She had spent the last 3 years at her home in Briarwood Assisted Living in Allegan, where she was loved and cared for by an excellent staff. Surviving are her 5 children; Sheila and Mark Kriebel, Tom and Katrina, Ann and Dan Benard, Jim and Rachel, Denise and Joe Klein, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her brother, Gordon and Mary Brainard, sister, Alice and Lee Klaasen, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, 2 children; Sharon and David, 3 brothers; Earl, Ralph, and Monroe, and her sister, Betty. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, from 6-8 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 21, at 11 am, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fr. Alan P. Jorgensen, Celebrant. Interment at the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
