passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at Wings Home, Allegan. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 29, 1922, the daughter of George and Ina (Richards) Cady. June was a veteran of the Womens Army Corps. June is survived by her children: Cynthia (Thomas) Lindsley, Stephen Simnitt; her grandchildren: Eve, Thomas, Andrew, Nathan; her great-grandchildren: Adrian, Ashley, Allen, Elliot, Elizabeth, Kylie; her sisters: Jackie Thomas and Beverly Matthews; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter, her sister, Betty, and her brother, Don. Friends may join the family for the Memorial Service on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 12 noon, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 631 Grand St., Allegan. Pastor Alex Steward will officiate. Private interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Muskegon. Memorials may be made to the Wings Home, 330 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010.
