Judi Morris, age 81, of Allegan, MI passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025.  Judi lived a life rich in love for her family and creativity – always putting her family first while nurturing her passion for art.

Born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin in 1944, Judi discovered her love for artistic expression early in life.  Her creativity blossomed into a lifelong passion, evident in everything she touched.  She owned and operated her own store, The Wooden Indian, where her artistry and eye for beauty found a home.  Later, she embraced the solitude and majesty of nature while working as a Fire Watcher in the mountains of Wyoming with the National Forest Service – a role that reflected both her adventurous spirit and deep appreciation for the natural world.  She then later returned to her hometown of Allegan, MI to be closer to her family.

Judi's work was more than admired – it was deeply felt.  Each piece she created carried the imprint of her generous heart and thoughtful soul, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to experience it.

Judi was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy came from caring for her family.  Whether it was taking Kayleigh on camping adventures, cheering Charlie on at tennis matches, visiting Kari in Cleveland, or baking cookies for Chuck, Judi's love was felt in every thoughtful gesture.  She was known for her kindness, her quiet strength, and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and deeply loved.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Chuck Morris (Jennifer); daughter, Kari Morris; granddaughter, Kayleigh Morris (Nic); grandson, Charlie Morris; and two great-grandchildren, Gracelyn and Cade.  She is also survived by her brother, Bob Miller (Candy and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Patti Carlisi; and her parents, Charles Richard "Dick" Miller and Mae Collins.

A visitation of Judi's life will be held on September 24, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.

Judi's legacy lives on in the hearts she touched, the art she created, and the love she gave to her family.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
