JR was born October 8, 1968, in Plainwell, the son of Leslie and Martha (Wright) Smith who survive, also surviving are his 4 children; Bridgette, Brittney, Brandy, and Bianca, the mother of his children, and his companion, Joanie Sloan, 2 brothers, John and Sabra Smith, and Charles Smith, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Julie. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, July 21, from 3-6 pm at the home of JR and Martha Smith, 4307 117th Ave., Lot 48, in Cheshire Twp.
