Joyce Mary Kee, 97, of Douglas, MI passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Douglas Cove Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born May 2, 1927 in Pasadena, CA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Bessie (Huff) Norgord) and was the wife of the late Roy Kee.  Joyce had attended Pasadena Jr. City College.  She had been a piano teacher and also worked as a librarian and secretary.  In 1955, Joyce had the honor of being named the Crown Cities Beauty Queen.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Richard (Sally) Teed; sister, Audrey; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Joyce was preceded in death by her siblings, Phyllis, Shirley, Eddie, Kenny and Ronnie.

In accordance with her wishes, services will take place privately.  Joyce will be laid to rest in Poplar Hill Cemetery beside her husband, Rex.
