of Hopkins, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Allegan County Medical Care Community. Mrs. Lussenden was born July 12, 1933, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of George and Cynthia (VanDuine) Miller. Joyce was a member of the Church of Christ in Bradley. She worked for over 20 years as a Secretary at the Hopkins High School, and later at Brenner Tours. Surviving are her husband, Vern, 4 children, Rick and Kathy Lussenden, Cindi and Steve Sebring, Cathy and Jesse Treece, Carol and Ted Lee, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Shirley and Gene Collings, Georgia and Norm Trudgen, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda, and her 2 son's, Daniel and Wayne. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, March 3, 2014, from 6-8 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm. Elders Adam Porter and Aaron Heath will officiate. Interment will be in the spring at Maplewood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Allegan County Medical Care Community, in lieu of flowers.
