Obituary

Hopkins, MI, died Thursday, April 17, 2003 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Bilski was born Aug. 26, 1915 in Muskegon,MI, the daughter of John and Justina (Klco) Palenick. She was a devout member of the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Hilliards and faithful in praying for others when they were sick. She had been employed at the Hopkins Post Office for many years. Surviving are 2 brothers, John Palenick of Allegan and Steven Palenick of Lawton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, in 1976, by her husband, Edward, whom she married Nov. 29, 1941. Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers and 4 sisters, Al, Rudolph, Phyllis, Vera, Mary and Cecilia. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Jim Vinh Le, Celebrant. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be made to the Church.
