Obituary

Joseph J. Sartini, of Allegan, died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the Laurels of Maplewood in Wayland. Mr Sartini was born September 2, 1906 in Chicago, the son of Joseph & Mary (Rossi) Sartini. He had been a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church for many years, as well as the Allegan Masonic Lodge # 111, Allegan County Amateur Radio Club, and the Chicago Federation of Musicians. In 1974 Joe retired from Rockwell Int. after 24 years of service as a tool inspector. Surviving are his 2 children, Ray & Marjorie Sartini of Farmington Hills and Lenore & Gary Ryun of Allegan, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 wives, Margaret, Betty and Edith, his daughter Charlene Youtzy, 2 brothers, Ray & Al, 2 sisters, Madaline & Roma. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 10 - 12 noon at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held at 12 noon on Monday. Pastor Robert Cosby will officiate. Interment Sheep of the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Watson Twp., Michigan. Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wings of Hope Hospice or the Laurels of Maplewood.
