MULREADY, Joseph M. Age 89, of Muskegon, formerly of Allegan, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 at McAuley Place in Muskegon. Mr. Mulready was born Feb. 28, 1912 in Alden, NY, the son of John and Margaret (Driscoll) Mulready. He was a 60-year member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Allegan, a member of the Knights of Columbus, life member of the Allegan Elks and past president of the Rotary Club. He received his B.S. degree from Western MI Univ. and Masters degree from the Univ. of MI. He was employed by Allegan Public Schools for 20 years as a teacher, principal and counselor. Surviving are 2 brothers-in-law, John (Millie) Minarovic and Michael Minarovic, both of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma, in 1995. Friends may meet with the family from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman, O.S.A., Celebrant. Interment Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Allegan.
