Obituary

Fennville, died Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Templeton was born March 2, 1940, in Augusta, Arkansas, the son of Samuel and AnnieLee (Everett) Templeton. Johnny was a Veteran of the United States Army, and a member of the Bravo Christian Reformed Church. He drove a school bus for the past 22 years for Bloomingdale, Otsego, Fennville and the Allegan Intermediate School District, before he retired in 2005. He was an avid fisherman, and loved his family very much. Surviving are his wife, Jane, 1 daughter, Sharon and Clark Sellers of Holland, 2 step children, Chris and Michelle Wallace of Manitou Beach and Andy and Krissy Wallace of North Adams, 11 grandchildren, Dustin, Jessica, Michael, Tyler, Maranda, Monica, Dalton, Katie, Alex, Sidney and Tatum, 2 brothers, Bill and Carolyn Templeton and Larry and Francis Templeton all of Arkansas, several nieces, nephews, cousins and 1 aunt and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son John. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 11am, at the Bravo Christian Reformed Church, 5587 113th Ave., Fennville. Pastor Don Jabaay will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Bravo Church, Love Inc. or the Diabetes Assoc. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
