John Merle Teets, III, 57, of Cheshire Township, MI passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at home. Born August 21, 1964 in Charleston, WV, he was the son of the late John Merle Teets, Jr. and Mary Louise Teets. John had worked as an automobile mechanic for the majority of his life. He was a kind and generous person, but also a bit of a jokester. John liked to relax with a cold beer, but often said there was nothing like a good old glass of sweet tea and a popsicle! He loved nothing more than to be surrounded by those he loved, especially his grandchildren. John is survived by his children, Jessica Dennison, Heather (Connor) Foster, John (Jessica) Teets and Shirley Hamilton; his siblings, Susan Mustain, Peggy Koppers, Brenda Mustain and Dan Teets; and his six beloved grandchildren, Isaac, Carson, Grace, Jaydin, Elijah and Greyson. The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM.
