of Allegan, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at his home. Mr. Radny was born April 24, 1930, in Chicago, IL, the son of Teofiel and Josetha (Kessa) Radney. John worked for National Motors in South Haven for over 20 years, and was still working part time for the Cheshire Twp. transfer station. Surviving are his wife, Frances, 8 children; Barbie, Johnny, Rickie, Duane and Leann, Sandy, Rosemary and Steve, Karen, and Jestina and Michael Geddes, 2 step children; Joy and Mark Metz, and Oren and Marie Emmons, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Pat and Art Oram, and Alice Venema, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers; Walt, Bill, and Robert, and 3 sisters; Janet, Sue and Florence. Military graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, at 10:30 am at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
