IN LOVING MEMORY OF

John And

Mary Moser

Obituary

John (67) and Mary (68) Moser shared a life together that spanned nearly half a century together. It was a life of laughter, joy, and unforgettable experiences. This portion of their journey came to an end in 2024 with Mary passing on May 12, 2024 and John joining her on November 20, 2024

Their 42 years of marriage welcomed three children Jason (Stacy) Moser (granddaughter Alessa), Teresa Moser, and David Moser, whom they loved dearly. Their union, which began with a Las Vegas wedding, was full of adventures, big and small. They shared vacations in Hawaii, cruised the Caribbean islands, made a road trip across the United States, and loved finding new casinos for a little gambling.

However, John and Mary's true passion was their family, and home was wherever they were. While Mary showed her love through cooking, John showed his love by always being there with a helping hand. They were thoughtful and generous people, living their lives making sure whoever was in the room with them, whether friend or stranger, was comfortable and cared for.

While they will be missed by family, friends, and all who knew them, we celebrate the amazing lives they lived and the good they have done in this world. We rejoice that John and Mary are joined back together in heaven and will continue their journey together.

Mary (Franken) Moser was born in Brunssum, Netherlands on October 5th, 1955.  She lived her life for her family, including her two chihuahuas, Izzy and Quincy. Mary was a compassionate mother, a strong woman, and kind person. She loved to laugh and to create through painting, reading, and cooking. She brought the family together.  Mary was remembered by everyone fortunate enough to meet her, and for those of us lucky enough to call her family or friend, there will always be a place in our hearts for Mary to call home.

John Thomas Moser Jr. was born in Detroit, MI on November 8th, 1957.  John lived to serve. As a husband, father, and friend, John ensured that those with him were always cared for before him. For 30 years, he served West Michigan as a proud business owner of Pro-Temp with his friend, Cal Vanhemert, before retiring. John was an avid golfer, an outdoorsman, and a lifelong Detroit Lions fan.  John was an outgoing man who made an impression on everyone he met. The world is a better place for having him in it. While his family and friends will miss him, their lives shine brighter for having known John Moser.

In addition to their children and their granddaughter, John and Mary are survived by John's sisters, Pat DeHanke, Sandy Gilliland and Kathy Williams.

John and Mary's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 26th. Their funeral service is at Gorden's Funeral Residence in Allegan, MI, with open visitation at 12 pm and funeral at 1 pm. Their ashes will be spread in Michigan's Upper Peninsula together.
