of Allegan, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at his home. Mr. Davis was born May 28, 1945, in Wyoming, Michigan, the son of Fay and Helen (Smith) Davis. John graduated from Allegan High School in 1964, and had worked for Armintrout's Nursery for over 20 years, retiring in 2010. Surviving are his long time companion, Pat Christman, his two sisters, Sylvia and Donald Jones, Linda and Tom DeVries, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Thompson. Cremation has taken place. There will be no public services. Inurnment at Rowe Cemetery, Cheshire Twp. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
