of Douglas, formerly of Allegan, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Hospice House of Holland. Mr. Hoffman was born January 24, 1935, in Kalamazoo, the son of Leo and Onalee (Small) Hoffman. John graduated from Culver Military Academy, and received his Law Degree from Indiana University Law School. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Surviving are his 3 children; John and Darcy Hoffman of TN, Steve and Stacy Hoffman of Kalamazoo, and Sarah Haist of Allegan, 7 grandchildren; Emily and Jason Bowman, Brielle, Brittany and Paige Hoffman, Allison, Kaitlin and Ellen Haist, 1 great granddaughter, Emma Bowman. Cremation has taken place. There will be no public services. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
