Valley Twp., Allegan, MI, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Aaron was born May 4, 1912 in Augusta, Arkansas. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army in North Africa. He had been employed for 31 years at the City of Chicago Water Dept., retiring in 1978. Surviving are his wife, Lovell (Caurthers); 2 children, Robert and Rondi Gordon, Jr., and Shirley Kelley, all of Illinois; 18 grandchildren; a host of great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Earlean Prince, son, Maurice Gordon, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and several grandchildren. Friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. Friday, until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at the M-40 North Church of God. Pastor Nathan Kelch officiating. Interment Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta.
