of Otsego died Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at her home. Joanne was born January 3rd,1941 in Otsego, Michigan, the daughter of George and Marian (VanHouten) Spencer. She was a graduate of Martin high school Class of 1958. She had worked for Ridgeview fruit farm for over 40 years. She was an active and faithful member at Immanuel Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Surviving are her husband Ken, 3 children: David Kinsey of Kalamazoo, Kevin and Pamela of Maine, Wes and Jerri Kingsbury of Otsego, 8 grandchildren, and 1 sister Mary and Stewart VanderVere of Allegan. Friends may meet with the family at 1 p.m. on Sunday until the memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Allegan. Pastor Ronald Bessert will officiate. Private interment at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
