Allegan, MI, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002 at her home. Mrs. Bell was born July 16, 1933 in Three Rivers, the daughter of John and Francis (Atkinson) Linsner. She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School, Class of 1951. She was a member of the Trowbridge United Methodist Church and had been involved in the Allegan County Jail ministry for 18 years. She had been employed as an Instructional Assistant at Pine Trails Elementary for 7 years and had served as a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was united in marriage Sept. 22, 1951 to Ralph Bell, who survives. Also surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Thomas and Kathy Bell of Georgia, Steven and Rose Bell of Allegan, Kathy and James Stewart of Otsego and David Bell, and his fiancee, Ann Rapey, of Martin; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother, Lela Baldwin and Robert Linsner. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Gary Wales officiating. Private family interment will take place at a later date at Trowbridge Methodist Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trowbridge United Methodist Church.
