Rushing, Jimmy Joe, Allegan, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Mr. Rushing was born July 24, 1936 in Fayetteville, AR, the son of Dwight & Mary Mable (Briggs) Rushing. Surviving are his children; Steve Indelwood of IN, Billy Joe Rushing of AR, Debra Kaylor of Allegan, Sharon Mayer of IN, Chris Jesnek of Holland, and Susan Haines of IN, 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Gorden, Doffice & Chester and 1 sister, Pauline Glad. A memorial service will be held at the Eagles in Allegan on Friday at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Eagles 2003 Children's Easter Fund.
