View Photo Tribute Jim Bellingar, 73 of Allegan, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mr. Bellingar was born September 17, 1930 in Allegan, MI the son of Leon and Margaret (Gilpin) Bellingar. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and an avid hunter. He had worked at Blood Brothers, in the oil fields, as a carpenter and a farmer. Surviving are his wife Marilyn; 4 children, Jim & Deb Bellingar of Kalamazoo, David & Robin Bellingar of Gun Lake, Randy & Sharon Bellingar of Allegan, Cindy & Don Martin of Allegan; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 stepbrothers, Jerry Gilpin of Texas, Robert & Ellen Gilpin of Rhode Island; several cousins. He was preceded in death by a stepbrother and his wife, Dick & Barbara Jean Gilpin. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Friday 1:00 pm. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Township.
