Jerry Bean was born April 30, 1945, to the late Raymond Sr. and Mary (Kalli) Bean in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away on November 5, 2022, at Country Inn Residence in Shelbyville, Michigan, after a lengthy illness of various ailments. Jerry graduated from Western High School in Detroit where he also participated on the school's swim team. After graduation he was drafted into the United States Army where he was trained and served as a Military Policeman for two years, including one year from mid-1965 to mid-1966, in South Vietnam. Returning home from the military, Jerry began to work in the trucking industry as a dock hand with his father and older brother for many, many years. He loved to be with family and travel throughout Michigan. He was very kind and loved to help others. He is survived by his sister, and many nieces and nephews. Obviously, Jerry will be missed by many! Service Details.
