Allegan, MI, died, Sunday, February 3, 2008 at his home. Mr. Richlich was born August 16, 1939, in Grand Rapids, the son of John and Jennie (Bladzik) Richlich. Jerry was a Veteran of the United States Army, and was an active member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He worked for the Flashes in Allegan for more than 17 years and then went to work for the Kalamazoo Gazette for 20 years. He was very active in his community, he loved singing and music, photography, and enjoyed many musicals with the Allegan Community Players. Surviving are his wife, Barb, whom he married on June 24, 1961; 4 daughters, Lisa Ann Richlich and John Huitt, Lynda and David Ferris, Lori and Alan Querback and Leslie and Amado Resendiz all of Allegan; 10 grandchildren, Stephen, Melissa, Matthew, Drew, Travis, Josh, Adam, Sarah, Allie and Emma; 1 sister, Marcia and Bob Card of Grand Rapids; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Al and Ed, and 2 sisters, Dolores Richlich and Jeanette McKellar. Friends may meet with the family Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 12 noon at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
