Dorr, MI, died Thursday, January 5, 2006 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Pigeon was born September 20, 1926 in Salem Twp., MI, the daughter of Peter and Angeline (Mark) Stevens. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Indian Mission. Surviving are 7 children, Mary and John Vander Wood of Jenison, Andy and Deb Pigeon and Steve and Kitt Pigeon, all of Hopkins, Art and Pat Pigeon of Otsego, Norm and Leslie Pigeon of Hopkins, John and Olive Pigeon of Dorr, and Cindy Pigeon of Hopkins; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; 2 sisters, Mary Church of Shelbyville and Phoebe Hall of Hopkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund, in 2002. Friends may meet with the family for a memorial visitation from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the Salem United Methodist Indian Mission and from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
