Plainwell, MI, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 17, 2007 at Plainwell Life Care Center. Jennie was born March 24, 1922 in Allegan, the daughter of George and Myrtle (Stuck) Germain. She remained active in her community with her Allegan High School graduating classmates and families, and with many fellow retired employees at North American Rockwell in Allegan. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her family and many friends and neighbors until her passing. Surviving are her sons, Carter Myers of Kentwood and Steven Myers and daughter-in-law, Joan Regal of Nevada City, CA; beloved grandchildren, Dorsey Myers of Chandler, AZ, and Carter Myers II, of Welches, OR; sisters, Bea Stuart of Plainwell and Edith Carlson of Allegan. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her sons, Hollis W. Myers, and second husband of more than 30 years, Mervin Huntley, both of whom died in 2002, and her brother George Stuck. Jennie requested that she be cremated and no services, and that her remains be scattered in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California.
