Jeanne Holland, Allegan, died Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mrs. Holland was born February 1, 1931 in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Hely & Audrey (Fetke) Chase. Jeanne loved to help out, she volunteered at many of her kids school trips and was always ready to make Bunny rolls for the kids at school as well as the different church functions in town. She lent a hand with the 4 - H programs and was one of the ladies who started ladies day at the fairgrounds, which is still active today. Surviving are her 3 children, Rick & Teresa Holland, Audrey & Steve Dominique and Andrea & Harry Radke all of Allegan, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Russell Chase of CA, Robert & Bette Chase of FL and Don Chase of KY, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, her grandson , Jacob, and her brother, William. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Joseph Phipps will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan.
