Allegan, MI, died Monday, June 21, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Peterson was born August 9, 1923 in Logan, OH, the daughter of Earl and Golda (Pargeon) Sanders. She graduated from Allegan High School, Class of 1941. She was a member of the Allegan Eagles and had worked for 15 years at Friedlens in Allegan and had also worked at Hardings in the bakery for 6 years. Surviving are 8 children and their spouses, Charlotte and Bill Goggin of Kalamazoo; Nancy and Tracy Loftus of Missouri, Steve and Cora Peterson of California; Stanley David and Denny Peterson of Arizona, Theresea Alger of Kalamazoo, Patty Smith and Annette Lee, both of Allegan and Karen and Jimmy Brown of Otsego; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Katheryn Traxler of Allegan, June and Bob Graves of Mesick and Letha Mae and Mike Krcatovich of Allegan; 2 brothers, Raymond "Sonny" and Pat Sanders of Allegan and Bob Sanders of Texas. Friends may meet with the family from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman, O.S.A., Celebrant. Interment Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Allegan.
