Allegan, MI, died Friday, December 22, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Gaines was born June 13, 1932 in International Falls, MI, the daughter of Adolph and Goldina (Clark) Eichberg. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Dennis and Cindy Gaines of South Lyon, Dallas and Cindy Gaines of Portage, Jerry and Cindy Gaines of Climax and Nancy Gaines of Allegan; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother and his wife, John and Primrose Eichberg of Berrien Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, in 2005. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
