died Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Jean was born August 16, 1921, in Monterey Township, the daughter of Roy and Shirley (Spohn) Hewitt. Jean enjoyed cooking and baking. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Carroll, and her son Dan and Lecia Gibson; her six Grandchildren: Matt and Marc Gibson, Dan Gibson, Denise Johnson, David Senkus and Stephanie Arthur; and her five Great-grandchildren. Jean is preceded in death by her husband George and her son Rick Gibson. In accordance to Jean's wishes, there will be no visitation or services held.
