Jean Marie Haas, 89, of Holland, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Heartland of Holland Nursing Home. Mrs. Haas was born February 12, 1927 in North Dorr, Michigan, the daughter of the late Milo and Margaret (Bieber) Bartz. Jean graduated from Allegan High School, Class of 1945. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for many years until moving to Holland, Michigan. Surviving are her two daughters: Sue Haas, Katherine and Jim Blood; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Ann Bartz; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; her sister, Pat Lane: brother, Bob Bartz; brother-in-law, Calvin; and niece, Karen Lane. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 12-1pm at Gorden Funeral, Allegan Chapel. Immediately following visitations, a graveside service will be held at 1pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery, Rev. Father Ben Huynh officiating.
