Jean Marie (Germain) Pierson, 95, of Allegan, MI passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Allegan County Medical Care Community. Born September 1, 1924 in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah (Case) Germain. She was the wife of the late Carl Pierson, who preceded her in death in 1996. Mrs. Pierson had worked for a number of local businesses, including Friedlands, Compaquette and Imperial Carving, but always remained a farm girl at heart. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing in her spare time. Mrs. Pierson is survived by her sons, Carl L. (Susan) Pierson, Eugene R. (Marlene) Pierson and James F. (Vicky) Pierson; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude Seekman; and her brother Charles "Howard" Germain. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Blackman Cemetery, Trowbridge Township.
