of Allegan, went to her Glorious Heavenly Home, on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Janis was born July 14, 1935, in Ashley, Michigan, the daughter of the late Clyde and Verna (Collins) Miller. Janis graduated from Allegan High School, Class of 1953, and attended Wheaton College, in Illinois. She had many pleasures in life, including road trips across this beautiful country, meeting friends along the way, and family vacations in Florida. She enjoyed being a beautician at the Vanity Beauty Shop, knitting, family gatherings, and her bridge club. Surviving are her husband: Dale; 5 children: Kathy and Joe DeGrandchamp, Brenda and Phillip Johnson, Abby and Jeremy Fogg, Travis and Amy Orr, Trevor and Nadene Orr; 15 grandchildren: Bret and Gabriela, Brianne and Raul, Katelyn, Alyssa and Kyle, Molly, Joseph, Jamison, Trevor, Lauren, Emily, Meredith, Parker, Sawyer, Miller, Archer; 3 great grandchildren: Sebastian, Benjamin, Micaela; her 2 sisters-in-law: Betty and Reva Miller; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son: Dale Orr Jr., and his wife Marilyn, her 3 brothers: Gene, John, and Jack Miller and his wife Phyllis; her sister: Joan Johnson and her husband Emery. A celebration of Janis's life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at 4 pm, at the First Congregational Church, 323 Cutler St., Allegan, MI 49010. Pastor H. Jack Miller Jr., officiating. Private interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Janis treasured her large family and many friends. She will be missed beyond words, but know that she will be welcomed by all who loved her, along with our Heavenly Father. We will see you again, Janis, mom, grandma.
