of Salem Twp., Dorr,MI, died Friday, January 23, 2004 at the Allegan General Hospital. Janet was born July 7, 1952 in Fort Atkinson, WI, the daughter of Harold & Helen (Koestler) Maas. She was employed at X-Rite, Inc. in Grandville for more than 13 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Dorr. Surviving are her husband, Richard; 2 sons, Justin & Christoph of Dorr; her mother, Helen Maas, of Wisconsin, 1 brotherand his wife, Herbert & Renee Maas of Troy; 3 sisters, Eileen & John Regan, Mary Maas and Roberta Maas all of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold, and a special friend Michelle (Shelly) Hellwig. Friends may meet with the family Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, and on Tuesday from 12 noon until service time at 2p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Dorr. Pastor Stephen Otto officiating. Interment Salem Twp. Cemetery, Burnips. Memorials may be made to the Shelly Hellwig Educational Scholarship.
