of Gobles, formerly of Allegan, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital. Janel was born May 2, 1972, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Jimmie and Jo Ann (Reed) Chestnut. She was a graduate of Allegan High School, Class of 1990. She loved her family, and was a loving mother. At the end of life, Janel, gave the Gift of Life.. Surviving are her children: Reed Mankin, Jack Mankin, Lucile Carter; her mother: Ann Chestnut; her brother: Jarrod Chestnut; 1 niece, Hanna; 2 nephews: Jaxson and Jasper. She was preceded in death by her father: Jimmie. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Janel's children, C/O Ann Chestnut, 3308 104th Ave., Allegan, MI 49010.
