Jamie Scott Arndt, 55, of Hopkins, MI passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at his home. Born October 30, 1963 in Zeeland, MI, he was the son of the late Lavern and Virginia Rose (Knobloch) Arndt and was the husband of Shiloh Ann (Main) Arndt of eighteen years. Jamie had worked for Weick's Excavating. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at East Lake. He took great pride in watching his sons follow in his footsteps by also spending time fishing at East Lake. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy. One of their favorite places to be together was at their cabin in Cadillac, MI. Jamie knew a little about a lot of different things and was never shy about giving advice to those who could use it. He will be remembered as a generous man with a heart of gold who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. In addition to his wife, Shiloh, Jamie is survived by his sons, Scott Arndt (Emili Costner), Andrew Arndt (Alyssia Fershee) and Morgen Arndt; and brothers, Tim Arndt and Lon (Dawn) Arndt. A memorial service will take place at Diamond Spring Wesleyan Church, 3562 136th Avenue, Hamilton, on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:30 AM.
