of Allegan, died Thursday, February 24, 2011, at his daughters home. Mr. Sayles was born December 17, 1956, in Otsego, the son of Ralph and Leona (West) Sayles. Jim had worked for many years at Post Hardwoods in Hamilton. Surviving are his daughter, Shannon and Tim Phillips of Allegan, his former wife, Penny Hebner of Allegan, 2 brothers; Ralph and LeRoy, 2 sisters; Peggy Fuller and Donna Fletcher, several nieces and nephews, good friends; Paul and Peggy Shamblin and Pat Finch. He was preceded in death by his son, James Sayles II. Cremation has taken place, there will be no services. The family would like to thank the Allegan Home Care girls and Dr. Liepman and her staff.
