Jim was born February 10, 1938, in Gaylord, Michigan, the son of the late, Sylvester "Sy" and Margaret (Pack) Milbocker. He graduated from Allegan High School in 1957. On August 2, 1958, James L. Milbocker Sr., married Darlene C. Byron, at the Chicora United Brethren in Christ Church. Jim was a partner at Milbocker and Son's for several years, until he went out on his own in 1975 and established James L. Milbocker Company, which he ran until his retirement in 2004. He also started J.D. Auto Sales in Allegan. Jim and Darlene attended, At The Masters Feet, Discipleship Ministries, in Otsego. Surviving are his wife: Darlene, 3 children: Brenda and Colin Lindel, James "Jay" Milbocker Jr., Karrie and Jerry Palmer, 10 grandchildren: Amanda and Nathan Neusbaum, Ashley, James III, Timothy, Alex, Garrett, Sarah, Cody, Shane and Kelsey, 5 great grandchildren: Spencer, Tori, Jimmy IV, Roman, Gideon, 5 brothers: Buster, Moe, Gene, David, and Mike, his sister: Julie, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his twin daughters; Lisa and Lora. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, February 27, from 5-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday. Pastor Ray Brown will officiate. Interment at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp. Memorials may be made to, At The Master's Feet, Discipleship Ministries, or the Wings of Hope Hospice.
