James "Jay" Lee Milbocker, Jr., 56, of Allegan, MI passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at his home. Born March 27, 1965 in Kalamazoo, he was the son of Darlene Carol (Byron) Milbocker and the late James Lee Milbocker, Sr. Having grown up surrounded by various types of heavy equipment, it was not a surprise that Jay followed in his father's footsteps by joining his father's construction business, James L. Milbocker, Inc. where they worked side by side for many years. He was a member of the Allegan Eagles Aerie 2315. In his spare time, Jay enjoyed spending time farming and traveling up north. He especially liked visiting Gaylord and the Upper Peninsula. Above all else, Jay loved his family. The time he spent with loved ones was his most treasured. He especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Jay will be remembered as a generous and giving man who shared his beliefs passionately and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Darlene, he is survived by his sons, James L. (Lisa) Milbocker, III, Shane Milbocker (Megan Dean) and Tim (Lindsey) Milbocker; sisters, Brenda (Colin) Lindel and Karrie (Jerry) Palmer; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Sonja Pinnell. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hartman Conference Center (690 N. Eastern Ave., Allegan, MI 49010) on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 4:00 PM. Jay will be laid to rest in Lindsley Cemetery on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Service Details.
