James Herbert Krueger, 74 of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27th, 2020 at Life Care Center of Plainwell in Plainwell, Michigan. Born July 10, 1945 in Oak Park, Illinois, Jim was the son of the late Louis and Jean (Rose) Krueger. He grew up in a home filled with love and kindness, and all of his special needs were met by his family. Jimmy made many friends in his lifetime, and always looked forward to visiting with them. He loved to wash cars, make crafts, and chat with anyone who would spend some time with him. He enjoyed going to church with his dad and being included in the activities. Little children always brought him joy, and his niece, Emma, had a special place in his heart. Jimmy is survived by his sister, Nancy Krueger and husband Mike Stevens, and his niece Emma Stevens. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Bernadine Livingston, and his beloved brother, Howard Krueger. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, March 6th, 2020, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (631 Grand Street, Allegan, MI 49010) from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with the service beginning at 1:00pm, Pastor Dan Ward officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Jimmy's name to Special Olympics, Michigan. Inurnment to take place at Plummerville Cemetery, Ganges Township. Service Details.
