of Allegan, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, in South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida. Jim was born May 27, 1934, in Allegan, the son of Ernest and Charity (Crisman) Green. He worked for Crescent Machine Company for over 35 years, retiring in 1996. Jim and his wife, Helen, spent winters in Florida. Surviving are his wife, Helen, 6 children; Brenda and Leonard Smith, James and Kathy Green, Sue and Dave Hiscock, Ernest and Cheryl Green, Marian and Walter Klotz, and Judy and Kevin Shank, 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 3 sisters; Dorothy Blanchard, Thelma Osborn, Donna and Jerry Miller, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert, and his sister, Myrtle Brooks. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, March 14, from 6-8 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 pm. Pastor Stephen Burrow from the Church of God, Otsego, will officiate. Interment, Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, Heart Assoc. or the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
