On February 7, 1987 a sweet little angel arrived into our world to the unimaginably complete love of Roger and Christine Rice, with the beautiful blue eyes that were her voice in this world. Jackie shared a sassy, engaging, and playfully-mischievous sisterhood with Diana, and two years ago welcomed Diana's husband Tom into her life, her brother-in-law. In her life, Jackie showed us all how to live a life fully spent in the enjoyment of little, simple pleasures. Always innocent, she lived an entire life and never uttered an unkind word, one of her many gifts to this world. Jackie was a 2013 graduate of the Hillside Learning Center, where she and her family were nourished by the special treasures provided by the staff there. Life treasures were also provided by the staff at Allegan County Community Mental Health, and by the many Caregivers that Jackie came to love. Each of these relationships was strengthened in the belief that we were guided by God's loving support throughout Jackie's life. Jacqueline was embraced in the sweet-abundance of love from her grandparents, Albin and Phyllis Kiella, and Luther and Florence Rice, as well as her aunts and uncles: Vicki, Nick, Jan, Mark, Lori, Bryan, Mary, Mike, Barb, Pat, Mary, John and Suzanne, and 27 cousins who join in the prayerful thoughts of Jackie's life in heaven, gloriously restored, and free of earthly limitations. We join in one voice today, July 26, 2015, to repeat these words: Jackie Sue... we love you! A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 11 am, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Kalamazoo, with a time to visit with the family one hour prior to the Mass. Fr.
