Trowbridge Twp., Gobles, MI, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Waterman was born January 14, 1936 in Allegan, the daughter of James and Lydia (Arndt) Holland. She had been employed at Perrigo's for 27 years, retiring in 1998. She loved her grandchildren and sports and enjoyed attending their sporting events. She liked quilting with her circle of friends, swimming, walking, and antiques. She and her husband went to tractor shows and were members of the MI Flywheelers of South Haven. Surviving are her husband, William, whom she married Sept. 3, 1954 in Allegan; 3 daughters, Regina Burroughs and Edith Beckers, both of Allegan, and Mary (Dennis) Tooker of Spring Lake; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother, James (Marie) Holland of Allegan; sister-in-law, Jeanne Holland of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard, in 2001. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the GORDEN FUNERAL RESIDENCE, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Don Miller officiating.
